I joined the Stampin' Up family in September 2016. I love creating cards and I was purchasing so many of my supplies in craft stores but was getting frustrated with trying to match up inks, paper, and embellishments. I would spend literally hours putting together the supplies whenever I found a patterned paper that I wanted to use to make cards with. When I saw how well everything in the Stampin' Up line matched I was thrilled. I no longer had to spend all that time picking out colors as they have done it all for us. Soooo awesome!!! I was also purchasing a lot of a heavier cardstock from the craft store because I tend to use a lot of layers in my cards and the paper for that was a bit costly. I found out that Stampin' Up carried a really heavy white cardstock and the cost was more reasonable.
I just love the quality of Stampin' Up products and found them to be superior to a lot of the other products on the market and the cost was less as well. So I thought rather than support the big box stores why not start my own business and support myself and my habit. Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
Stampin' Up demonstrators are so good about sharing tips and tricks and I found that most of the classes I was taking to learn techniques were ones that were actually designed or started by other demonstrators. Now I have a world of techniques at my fingertips.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
